The motherland of the black-spotted cattle is Holland. The global number of cattle in the world is about 80 million. However, different types of the breed developed in different regions.

   Kabiuk State Company raises the German Black Pied cattle. This is a crossbreed of 50% German Black Pied and 50% Holstein Friesian cattle. The animals are fairly big; the average live weight of the cows is 600 kg while the bulls are 800-900 kg. The milk-yield reaches 4500-4800 kg with a fat yield of 3.8 - 4%. This is a predominantly diary and meat breed. The cattle are listed in the Elite Population List of the Republic of Bulgaria.
