Cretaceous. The soil is formed of carbonate sand and clay deposits. The soil cover is carbonate non-eroded and lightly eroded black earth and heavy sand and clay. This is medium-humus soil, with top layer organic substance contents of 3,48 while the pH is alkaline - 7,3. There are carbonates all over. The soil is well aerated, of medium water permeability; the water holding capacity is poor to medium. |

With regard to the climate, the land of Kabiuk is in the North Bulgarian moderate continental sub-region of the European continental climate region. The warmest months are July and August, with average monthly temperatures of 220 C; the coldest month is January, with the average month temperature of - 1,10 C. The average annual temperature is 11,0 0C. The main rainfall for this area is in late spring and early summer, in May and June. |

The second peak of rainfall is in the early winter, in November and December. The absolute minimum is in September, the secondary minimum is in winter. Generally, the rainfall is insufficient as the total quantity is 597 mm/m2, a little below the average 623 mm/m2 for the country. The structure of the agrarian cultures is fully based the livestock husbandry needs of the company. Grain cultures are on 55% of the arable land, the succulent and grass fodder cultures are on 26% of the land, 16% is occupied by technical cultures, and certain other plants are on 3% of the land. 70% of the grain yield is for company use, including 62% for fodder and 8 % for seeds, and 30 % is sold to customers. Kabiuk uses about 4000 decares for wheat, 3500 decares for barley, 2000 decares for seed oats, 2000 decares for seed corn, 1800 decares for silage maize, 1700 decares for alfalfa, 1500 for vetch and pea-and-oats mix and 3500 for sunflower. |

production was started as early as 1928, when wheat, beet, carrot, millet and sunflower seeds were produced and sold to the neighboring regions. In the 90ies of the 20th century, the annual seed and grain production reached 1380 tons. Today, Kabiuik produces first crop Aglika and Pobeda seed wheat, first crop Obzor and Pleasant barley, first crop Yunak fodder peas, second crop Obrazets 666 vetch and second crop Prista-2 alfalfa. |
